The sea wall defences stretch as far as the eye can see and provide plenty of spots for the sea angler. As any pier or sea wall venue Tilbury can be snaggy in places.
The tide run can on big tides be fast, and is best fished three hours up and just over high water.

SPECIES

During the summer flounders, eels and bass are caught. The winter fishing produces whiting, codling, flounders, bass and soles.
