Directions : Take the A30 to the west end of the Hayle bypass, turn right towards Lelant on the A3074 to St Ives. At St Ives follow the one-way system around the harbour to Porthgwidden car park. Take the coastal path to the top of The Island on the left of the old Coastguard station
Season : Winter for whiting, dogfish and dab, other species in summer
