Shimano Speedmaster AX Jigging Medium Heavy multiplier model
Another new range from Shimano, again aimed at the growing jigging market. The nine rods cover the more conventional jigging methods, although they are also suitable for Butterfly jigging.
The range is available in either multiplier or fixed-spool configuration, and all rods are equipped with Titanium-Lite ceramic SiC guides, Fuji DPS reel seats and EVA grips. The blanks are constructed from XT100+ Biofibre, which makes them light, easy to cast and very strong.
Ratings are from 40g up to a mighty 1kg on the one-piece versions. Like the Ocea Blue Rose rods, they are superbly finished and made from the best materials available.
